• Content Processing: The App processes publicly shared content URLs (e.g., from TikTok or Instagram Reels) that you provide via the device's share extension. Only the URL is transmitted to our server for processing to extract location data embedded in the content (e.g., geotags or mentions).
  • This URL is not linked to you personally.
  • No metadata from your device (e.g., timestamps, user agents) is captured or retained.
  • Extracted locations are derived solely from the content itself and are not associated with your identity.
• Server-Side Storage: Processed content references (e.g., a unique identifier for the extracted locations) are stored on our server in a non-user-specific manner. If another user submits the same URL, the existing reference is reused. No user-specific data is saved or linked.
• Analytics and Crash Reporting: We do not use third-party analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase) that could track user behavior. Crash reports, if enabled, are anonymized and do not include personal data.

In summary, the App operates without collecting or retaining any data that could identify, track, or profile you.

2. How We Use Information

Since no personal data is collected, there is no use of your information for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose. The limited processing occurs solely to provide the App's core functionality:

• Extracting and displaying locations from shared content URLs.
• Caching references on the server for efficiency (e.g., to avoid reprocessing identical content).

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise monetize any data.

3. Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not share any information about you with third parties.

• The server processing is handled internally by our infrastructure (hosted on secure cloud services compliant with GDPR standards, such as those in the EU).
• No data is shared with content providers (e.g., TikTok, Instagram) beyond the public URL you provide.
• We do not engage third-party service providers for data processing that would involve user information.

4. Data Security

Although we collect no personal data, we take reasonable security measures to protect the integrity of the App and server processes:

• URLs and extracted data are transmitted over secure HTTPS connections.
• Server storage uses encryption at rest and access controls to prevent unauthorized access.
• We regularly review and update our security practices.

5. Your Privacy Rights (Including GDPR Rights)

• Access, Rectification, Erasure: Since no personal data is stored, these rights are not applicable. You can delete any locally cached content references on your device at any time via the App settings or by uninstalling the App.

EU users (including in Germany) can contact us to confirm no personal data is held. We respond within one month, as required by GDPR.
